HAIR CARE

High-performance technical fabrics require specific care. Follow these instructions to preserve the elasticity, breathability, and moisture management of your garment over time.

Pre-Wash Preparation

  1. If you cannot wash the garments immediately, hang them in a well-ventilated area. Never leave them compressed and damp with sweat in the bag (acidic sweat degrades elastic fibers and promotes bacterial growth).
  2. Close all zippers, Velcro fasteners, and snap buttons. This prevents the zipper teeth or Velcro from tearing the delicate fabric or mesh during washing.
  3.  Always wash the garment inside out to protect prints, outer seams, and the surface fabric.

Washing Machine Settings

  1. Always use mesh laundry bags. Use a small amount of liquid detergent for delicates. DO NOT use fabric softener because it leaves a film on the fibers that eliminates breathability and ruins water-repellent treatments (DWR). DO NOT bleach because it permanently damages synthetic fibers and colors.
  2. Never exceed 30°C. Excessive heat cooks technical membranes and destroys the elasticity of the Lycra. Set a delicate cycle with a low spin speed (max 600-800 rpm).

Drying and Maintenance

  1. Never use a dryer. Hang the garments to dry in the shade, avoiding direct sunlight, which can fade the colors and dry out the fabrics. For overalls, it is best to lay them flat to prevent the weight of the wet legs from stretching the straps.
  2. The heat of an iron would literally melt the synthetic fibers and heat-sealed seams.
